Recently I installed Growl FREE Application. What it does? It shows notification in a beautiful way. It comes with side applications. For example to show hardware notification like Wifi, Bluetooth, USB connected/disconnected you also need to install hardwaregrowler. To show Firefox notification you need to install Firefox Growler Add-on. Previously I was hesitant to try such utilities, but now I have tried it I can not live without it. Download this app from here. You may also need to download dockless. Dockess hide icons from the dock. It can be downloaded from here.
