If your Intel Mac takes long time to boot. Here are the tips to follow:

  1. Inside System Preference, click on Account and then on Login Item. Remove the item you don’t need by clicking on – Button.
  2. If you have installed Audio Hijack, then immediately update to new version. Audio Hijack install utility named Application Enhancer. AE is the main culprit it forces OS X to bind libraries every time you boot.
  3. Also look inside Log in Console Application, which comes bundled with your mac.
